General George Washington addresses the Officers of the American Army, who debate removing Congress due to lack of providing food, supplies & pay for the American Army. As he was about to read a letter, he had to reach for his spectacles and say "Gentlemen, you must pardon me. I have grown gray in your service and now find myself growing blind.” The room erupted into tears and with those words he saved the American Cause.
